ARC — AI Rules & Code manifesto

A short, living set of rules for working with AI tools — concise, practical, and evolving.

Core Rules
These rules are curated, short, and actionable.
  1. 1.
Never work with only one AI tool. Use them in combination and make them cross-check each other as if they were your full-fledged team.
  2. 2.
Follow the 10-minute rule: if you haven't received an answer from an AI to your question within 10 minutes, you won't get it. Rephrase the question or switch to another AI tool.
  3. 3.
Always validate AI output: treat AI as an assistant, not as the ultimate authority.
  4. 4.
AI works best with two types of tasks: highly decomposed ones and creative ones (just like a humans). Don’t expect high-quality results if you operate somewhere in between.
  5. 5.
When defining a system prompt for an AI tool, avoid the temptation to ask it for tasks outside the defined scope. Instead, create a separate prompt if you need an assistant from another domain.
  6. 6.
Enterprise-ready solutions built solely through vibe-coding are a myth.
